Paul John, MD

Dr. Paul John, a Family Practice doctor for 25+ years, graduated, cum laude, from The University of Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.  He obtained his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  He completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at the U. S. Naval Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. John practiced as a staff physician for two years for the US Navy at the Naval Hospital in Guam, a U.S. Territory.  He then practiced as a staff family practice physician and a member of the teaching staff of the Puget Sound Family Medicine Program at the U. S. Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA from 1994-1995.  In 1995, Dr. John moved to Austin, Texas and practiced medicine for the Seton Hospitals where he served as the Chairman of the Family Practice Department of the Seton Hospital Network in 1997.  He has also served on the Seton Health Plan Quality Improvement Committee and the Seton Health Plan Credentials Committee.  In 2000, Dr. John established his private family practice office in Northwest Austin.

Dr. John is Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and holds memberships with the American Academy of Family Practice, The Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society.  During his years as a naval medical officer, Dr. John was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for support during Hurricane Hugo in 1989, and was awarded the National Defense Medal for Operation Desert Storm in 1991.  Dr. John also volunteered for Operation Hand Clasp where he provided medical care to residents of isolated developing islands in Micronesia in 1994.  Dr. John enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.  He is committed to providing comprehensive, high quality medical care to families in the Austin area.

Jessica Lott, FNP-BC

Jessica Lott, FNP-BC

Jessie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and she is an active member of Texas Nurse Practitioners. Jessie began her career working as a registered nurse on a surgical oncology unit, but spent most of her nursing career working in intensive care. As a primary care provider, she is committed to providing compassionate, holistic care to her patients.

Jessie grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and has lived in Austin since 2009. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Kasee Bates, MSN, FNP-C

Kasee Bates, MSN, FNP-C

Kasee Bates is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).  She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Angelo State University. 

Kasee has more than 10 years of experience in the acute and intensive care settings caring for patients as a nurse.  She began her career as a registered nurse in the cardiac/telemetry unit and has worked extensively in trauma ICU and outpatient perioperative nursing since that time.  She has received comprehensive training in primary and urgent care, including focused pediatric and women’s health education.  She enjoys working closely with patients and families to address health promotion and preventative health care needs and is dedicated to building an open and trusting relationship between the patient and provider.      

Kasee is from Augusta, Georgia and has lived in Austin, Texas since 1998.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and small dog, Barkley, traveling, and staying active.
